My work focuses on information security and privacy, regulation and innovation in telecommunications, with an emphasis on analyzing the socio-economic aspects of technologies. His work involves understanding social and economic aspects related to information technology, with a particular focus on security and innovation. He is currently involved in an EU project, SECONOMICS, funded by the FP7 in SECURITY. He completed his PhD at the Department of Telecommunications, Information Studies and Media at Michigan State University. Prior to studying information technology, Woohyun completed his masters degree in Economics from Seoul National University, Korea, and his bachelors degree in Economics from Sungkyunkwan University, Korea.
