The paper "Is There Light at the Ends of the Tunnel? Wireless Sensor Networks for Adaptive Lighting in Road Tunnels" won the Best Paper Award at IPSN'11 (SPOTS track)!

Luca Mottola (Ph.D. 2008): now a researcher at SICS (Stockholm, Sweden) in Thiemo Voigt's group. At the 6th European Conference on Wireless Sensor Networks (EWSN 2009), Luca's thesis "Programming Wireless Sensor Networks: From Physical to Logical Neighborhoods" was awarded the EWSN/CONET Best Ph.D. Thesis Award
