The Security Group at DISI is offering a 2 years postdoc position in Secuirty and Privacy. We seek a highly motivated individual with research specialization in system and network security and/or privacy. The postdoc will be part of the ongoing research activities at the department, which include design, analysis and implementation of robust and efficient cryptographic protocols and secure systems.

• carry out research in security & privacy;
• participate and work partly on the NESSoS project;
• coordinate your work, and help with the coordination of the research activities of the Security Group;
• help supervising MSc and PhD students;
• fulfill light additional tasks, which may include teaching, helping with the acquisition of new research projects, etc.

• a PhD in computer science or a related field;
• scientific creativity and productivity, reflected by publications in international journals and conferences on security and privacy;
• a background in system and/or networks (sorry we are not looking for a theoretician for this position);
• independent and well-structured working style;
• well-developed social skills directed to work in a team;
• fluency in spoken and written English.
