Softwares and Prototypes

• The Beta Workbench: The Beta Workbench (BWB) is a collection of tools built on top of the BlenX language to model, simulate and analyse biological systems. The BWB includes the BWB simulator (implemented in C++), a stochastic simulator based on an efficient variant of the Gillespie's stochastic algorithm, the BWB designer, a tool for writing models using a nice graphical editor, and the BWB plotter, a tool to analyse the results of a stochastic simulation run using the simulator. The prototype has been designed and implemented in collaboration with Lorenzo Dematté.
