Andrea Passerini

Research

My main research interests are in the areas of machine learning and optimization, especially learning in domains with complex structures like sequences, trees and graphs and bioinformatics applications. My most recent interests are in developing techniques combining statistical and symbolic learning, by integrating logic and constraint programming with kernel-based algorithms. I am coordinator of the research program on Deep and Structured Machine Learning and head of the Structured Machine Learning group (SML). Further information can be found in my CV, in the page of the SML group, and in my publications page.
