Research Projects

• KnowDive. It is a multidisciplinary R&D project whose goal is "Managing Diversity in Knowledge by Adaptation". I am system architect and project manager in the several systems developed as part of the project;
• Knowledge Web - Realizing the Semantic Web. This is a Network of Excellence project funded by the 6th EC framework programme. Its main objective is to support the transition of the Semantic Web from Academia into a technology provided by Industry;
• Accord. Its main objective is the study of methodologies, theories, mechanisms, and technologies which will allow for an interaction of information sources (e.g., databases, information systems, web sites, file systems) within a Peer-to-Peer environment.
