I got my PhD in November 2011, from
the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science, University of
Trento.
After my defense, I've joined Adobe and I'm no longer maintaining this site. Please visit www.stefanguna.info for recent stuff on me. You'll be redirected to my new site in about 10 s.
My research focused on the problem of monitoring distributed, global properties expressed using state variables of nodes in wireless sensor networks. In addition, I was interested in energy-efficient neighbor discovery protocols which enable various applications such as monitoring of global properties on mobile nodes, social study of wildlife, assisted living, etc. In my endeavors, I was supervised by Gian Pietro Picco.
I successfully defended my thesis on November 25, 2011. At the last update (Thu, 22 Dec 2011 21:01:06 +0100), the Latex sources consist of 123 files with a total of 10363 lines and 73448 words.
