About me: I am a second year PhD student at ICT Doctorate School Trento and my advisor is Bruno Crispo. The focus of my research lies with the enforcement of security policies in distributed environments. I am also interested in access and usage control within the same environments, in Web services and Service-Oriented Architectures.

My MSc thesis dealt with security functionality offshoring in Service-Oriented Architectures; I carried out its implementation at the Universitaet der Bundeswehr Muenchen, and defended the thesis at "Politehnica" University of Bucharest.

Interests: Security, Usage Control, Web Services and SOA, Distributed Systems, Operating systems, Software Engineering.
