Below there are suggestions for the structure of the presentation of your project proposal and for the written report.

Slides (21st of December 2023, 13:00-15:00 online): Template (10 mins + 5 min discussion)

  3. Method to address it
  4. Intuitively, the experiment you suggest.
  5. How you will interpret the results/metrics.

Slides (25 January 2024, 15:00-17:00 online): Template (15 mins + 5 min discussion). To be uploaded here by the 24th.

Report: Template

It should be written in LaTeX and sent to me by the 6th of February 2024. The report should be 4 pages max.

  1. Motivation: describe the main problem you are interested in. (half a page)
  2. Literature: summarize the paper(s) you have read about it: main work, main result. (1 pages).
  3. Research questions raised by the literature you reviewed. (less than half page)
  4. Your proposal: what do you propose to do to answer the RQs. (few lines)
  5. Your project: what have you actually done to start answering the RQs (1 page)
  6. Discussion of your project. (1 page)
  7. Conclusion of you have learned and you it is left to be done.

Feel free to adjust the structure to your need and style. Takee the suggestion about the pages, just an indication of the distribution among the various parts.
