Project details

Project astract Hardware (FPGA) implementation of kernel-based algorithms for real-time processing for scientific applications.<br/><br/>With this project, we intend to exploit the strong cooperation between the physicists that are directly concerned with the application of adaptive systems for off-line and on-line analyses of scientific problems and the computer science and electronic engineers that are interested in the definition of efficient computational models and architectures, supported by firm theoretical bases. In addition, NeuriCam SpA, a local micro-electronics company, has shown interest in this line of research and has offered its cooperation and support since the computational architectures developed under this research can be the starting point of new commercial product and the application areas are of interest to some of its customers.
