Project astract Protecting SIP networks against abuses is a challenging issue because of the complexity of the network. Recently NLE developed a concept called VoiP SEAL where multiple performance metrics can be observed in order to derive anomalies in a SIP-based communication network for multiple purpuse (detecting SPIT, DoS, frauds, etc.). This project is about testing and enhancing the performance of VoIP SEAL, by investigating effective configuration guidelines and analyzing key features of real traffic traces.
