DISI Sub-project details

Project astract The project will address solutions on how to detect and prevent SPIT attacks to VoIP systems:<br/>- Study of possible extensions of SPIT prevention methodologies implementing additional ones that could enhance the performance of the system.<br/>- Study of the semantics of SPIT prevention methodologies resulting in a so-called "?spam score".<br/>- Study and implementation of extensions of the SPIT simulator allowing the possibility of taking as input multiple type of sources.<br/>- Perform a simulation campaign testing the detection and prevention effectiveness based on the methodologies defined and on the enhancements of the ones already present in the simulator.
