Project details
Project astract The research foreseen in this proposal aims at the investigation, through fundamental analytical methods, of the basic principles governing the performance of large, self organizing telecommunication networks, with particular attention to heterogeneous networks where the access is obtained through a wireless connection.<br/>These networks are characterized by application performances driven by the TCP protocol and very often they are also characterized by fast topology changes and dynamic routing such as in ad-hoc, peer-to-peer and sensor networks.
