Project astract Study and validation of acquistion and processing techniques of stereo images produced by the embedded intelligent cameras produced by NeuriCam.<br/><br/>This contract constitues the application of the current framework accord between NeuriCam and DIT signed on the 12-th day of March 2004.<br/><br/>The activites envisioned in this contract are carried out within the research program "Stereovision" funded - in part - by the Provincia Autonoma di Trento (L.P. 6/99).<br/><br/>The activities required for this contract will be carried out according to the following phases:<br/>1. Study of the intelligent embedded stereo camera that have been developed by NeuriCam;<br/>2. Development of techniques, algorithms, and modules to extract a measure of the scene optical flow with the specific aim to count the number of people present in the scene being viewed.<br/>3. Validation of the techniques and algorithms thus developed through experimental tests.
