ToothAgent is a multi-agent architecture aimed at supporting virtual communities of co-located users. It combines multi-agent systems and Bluetooth communication technology and allows users to access via their mobile devices (cellular phones and PDAs) various services offered by the multi-agent platforms running in distributed servers. ToothAgent is domain independent (it does not depend on the specific services offered by the servers) and independent from the multi-agent technology adopted.

This project is sponsored by the University of Trento (UNITN), Department of Information and Communication Technology (DIT).
