The University of Trento is one of the two italian universities present in the international ranking of the 100 best universities under the age of 50 created by the "Times Higher Education".

The "THE 100 Under 50" offers an insights into which institutions may be future world leaders in the education and research sectors.

Trento raked 37°, thanks to its good performance in education and research - including a high number of quotations and a large amount of fundings - as signs of its good scientific reputation.

University of Trento results in the Times Higher Education 2012 general rankig are also remarkable: Trento achieved an abosute position between 276 and 300.
